Bridal & Formal by RJS at 3806 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN is offering Prom Dresses free of charge to some of the seniors from economically challenged families. I asked Mr. RJ "what will this (giving dresses free) get you." He said, as always with that big smile," pure satisfaction!" He said that Bridal & Formal by RJS have always done that and, the satisfaction of knowing that you helped to make girl's wish come true is all they seek from this. With the exception of two (out of many) that unfairly took advantage the program, works well; most of the time the dresses do go to the most deserving kids. This year he has added certain conditions to make sure that the dresses are going to people truly deserve it.
There are only 10 dresses they give out free for this program. So one must satisfy the following conditions to be eligible.
1. You must be a high school senior in good standing with the school you are attending.
2.You must maintain a minimum of C average.
3. You must be recommended by the school principle you are attending.
4. You must make a promise to maintain that good standing with the school till graduation.
If these conditions are met, then your name will be added to the list and the names will be pulled at random to give out the ten dresses.
Mr. RJ said that it is really a very rewarding thing to do; he wish he could provide every one of them that apply. But, he cannot do that. He says, "we all have to do what we can to help those in need!" This is another one of his charitable deeds that he is very proud of.
